Insurance and Damage
Damage
When damage is detected, a damage report is created and your deposit will be withheld. The damaged item will be taken with the next transport to the headquarters in Breda, where the damage will be assessed. This can sometimes take a while, because we cannot drive especially for it and therefore combine it with other transport. You will then be informed about the damage. Minor damage will be settled with the deposit; for larger amounts, an additional invoice will be sent. Are you insured for damage through travel insurance or a "Outside the Home" insurance? Do not forget to report it to your insurer. If you participated in the Damage Buy-Off Scheme, it will be taken into account during the settlement of the damage in accordance with the applicable conditions.

The customer is responsible for the rented items during the rental period. With our damage buy-off scheme, you can limit your risk of paying for damage. An excess of €50 always applies.
Force majeure damage buy-off
