Towbar luggage box now tiltable!
The towbar luggage box has always been a popular option for people with a lot of luggage or for those who cannot install a roof box on the car roof. The downside was always accessing the trunk or the 3rd/5th door. With the Thule BackSpace 9171 tiltable towbar box, this is no longer an issue. With a foot pedal, you can easily tilt the box backward. Available from July 1, 2016.
Topspace updates roof box names
Following the naming conventions used by roof box and roof rack manufacturer Thule, Topspace is updating the naming of its roof boxes:

Second generation WingBar — Thule WingBar Edge introduced
During the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, Thule presented the second generation WingBar. This updated version of the world's safest and quietest roof bar has an even lower profile. Because of this, the roof bar sits closer to the roof of your car, which has a very positive effect on aerodynamics and noise reduction. This roof rack set will be available for cars with flush rails, open rails, and fixpoints. Available from 2013.
New foldable bike carrier Thule EasyFold introduced
Thule has developed a new user-friendly, foldable bike carrier suitable for all types of bicycles. The Thule EasyFold can be mounted on your car in just two steps. First, the carrier is placed onto the towbar, and then it is unfolded. A space-saving bike carrier that you can easily store at home or in your car’s trunk. Suitable for all bicycle types, including e-bikes (electric bikes and bikes with auxiliary motors). Equipped with LED lighting.
Thule introduces new snow chain, bike carrier, and roof box at Automechanika
At the Automechanika show in Frankfurt, Thule introduced several new products. These include the Thule Excellence XT, Thule Easy-fit, Thule Easy Fold and Thule EasyFold. The Thule Excellence XT is the ultimate and most luxurious roof box, which automatically secures your load and even features interior lighting! The Thule EasyFit is the most user-friendly snow chain in the world. The Thule Easy Fold is Thule’s first foldable bike carrier. Improved Atlantis renamed Thule Motion
In 2012, the Thule Atlantis will be replaced by the Thule Motion, a roof box that once again meets Thule’s high quality standards but offers slightly more luxury than the Atlantis. The Thule Motion will be available in 200, 600, 800, and 900 versions. All sizes will be sold in glossy black and silver; the Thule Motion 800 will also be available in glossy white.
Thule introduces white roof box
The Thule Group has announced that the new Thule Motion roof box line will include a white version. The last time Thule released a white roof box was in the 1980s with the grauw-white Combibox. Now there will be a white ski box again, but in beautiful glossy white.
Thule introduces extremely quiet roof bar
After the innovative Thule Aerobar, Thule now presents the WingBar — the quietest and safest roof bar ever. Because of the wing-shaped design combined with the rubber strip in the T-track, the WingBar produces 90% less noise than the Aerobar. The special profiles at the ends of the bars reduce wind resistance, saving fuel. The Thule WingBar fits all Thule foot packs. The Thule WingBar will be available from mid-October 2011.
