Does Topspace have roof racks for my car?

Topspace has roof racks for 99% of all cars. For some US models, vans, or exceptional models, we may not be able to help. If we cannot help you, we will of course inform you immediately.

Are the roof racks installed by Topspace?

Yes, installation of our rental items is a free part of our service!

I have nothing on my roof. Can I still rent a roof box?

It may not be visible, but almost every car has special mounting points where a roof rack can be installed. A roof box is then mounted on these racks.

I have roof rails (raised rails) on the roof of my car. Do I still need roof racks to mount a roof box?

Yes, even on roof rails, roof racks still need to be installed.

What are roof rails?

Roof rails are bars mounted lengthwise on the roof of the car, sticking out a few centimetres above the roof. Since 2005 there are also closed roof rails.

Do you have roof racks available for all cars?

Yes, for almost every car, except for some vans and American cars.

What do you mean by MPV?

An MPV is a specific type of car. It is best described as a large family car (multi-purpose vehicle), whose rear seats can be removed to create a large loading space.

What do you mean by T-track?

A T-track is a groove in the roof in which roof racks can be mounted.

Can roof racks be installed on a lettered/wrapped car?

It is possible, but the sticker/wrap will usually be deformed. If you do not want that, it is better not to install roof racks.

I have my own roof box, will it fit on Topspace roof racks?

If the roof box is not older than 10 years, this will generally not cause problems. It also depends on the mounting system of the roof box and whether the mounting points for the roof racks on your car are flexible.

Is a luggage rack the same as a set of roof racks?

No, not entirely. A luggage rack is essentially a set of roof racks with an additional frame on top, on which luggage can be secured.
